8. INT. – NIGHT – INISDE A LIMOUSINE IN MOTION,
METROPOLIS
The screen shows the words: " YEARS LATER..."
We see the face of
the man from the magazine, but now we see it live. He is LEX LUTHOR (38, red hair, green eyes, tall, athletic, elegant,
arrogant.) and looks really angry.
LEX LUTHOR
How could you,
Lois? You
dared betray me, after all we´ve meant for each other...how could you?
We see a woman
sitting in front of him, she`s LOIS LANE
(25,brown eyes, black hair, proud look, courageous). She looks at LEX with
no fear in her eyes, looking straight to him she answers with confidence in her
voice.
LOIS
Meant for each other?
Lex, I tried to be your friend and all it got me
was being the object
of your manipulations... Besides, you knew I was doing an article about your
life for the Daily Planet, does it really surprises you that I did a good job
on my research?
LEX
Come on, Lois...You
knew my feelings for you, we would have been more than friends if you allowed
yourself to be all you can be...
LOIS
And what would that
be, according to you? Mrs. Luthor number five? Or six? I lost count a long time
ago.
10. EXT. – NIGHT – STREETS OF METROPOLIS
We see the limousine
being driven by the streets of Metropolis, it enters a dark alley on a very
nasty neighborhood. We see the plate of the car, it reads “LEX”.
11. INT. – NIGHT – LIMOUSINE IN MOTION
LEX throws at LOIS a
file with papers.
LEX
Whatever...in any
case, me being...unfortunate...at love, does not excuse the bag of lies you`ve written here... My God, Lois...just
the idea of me murdering my parents for the insurance money!!!
LOIS
Lex, what is it that
bothers you? What I wrote? Or that I wrote it?
LEX
Sigh...Lois, that
wasn´t the right answer...It really saddens me to see you become my personal
enemy.
LOIS
Are you threatening
me?
LEX
My dear, you know me
well enough to know I don´t threaten people...I only tell them what they have
earned from me... First let me tell you that since I do care for you, I`m
willing to let this one go by, but also know that this article won´t see print
at all...Second, even though I won`t retaliate more for this...humiliation...for the moment, that
does not mean I intend to make your life easier.
LEX grabs the phone
of the limo and talks to the driver.
LEX
Mercy? Miss Lane will
be getting out here, please stop the car and open her door, if you are so
gentle.
12. EXT. – NIGHT – SUCIDE SLUM METROPOLIS
We see the wheel of
the car stopping. We hear the sound of a door opening and some steps, we see
black shoes and gray pants walking.
Now we see a very
beautiful woman dressed as a chauffeur in a gray uniform, she´s MERCY (25, brunette, short hair, nice
body, her eyes look cold and she walks with great precision). MERCY opens the
door of the passenger and takes LOIS out of the car by force, she pushes LOIS
to the floor, takes away LOIS` purse, closes the door and get´s back at her
seat.
LOIS seems with her
pride hurt.
LEX rolls down the
window of the door, and shows his face to talk to LOIS.
LEX
You
should know you are at the worst part of Suicide Slum, dear. Not only is this
the most dangerous spot in the city, but it is also very far away from home and
you have no money for a cab...The walk back home should give you the time you
need to think about what you´ve done...That is, if you manage to get back home
alive...Au revoir, Lois!
LEX rolls up the
window again and the limo goes away, leaving LOIS there, looking very angry.
LOIS gets up and tries to get some of the dust of the
street off of her dress.
VOICE FROM BEHIND HER
Now THAT is no way to
threat a lady, right guys?
She looks back and
there are four guys looking at her the way a pack of wolves look at their prey.
They certainly don´t look friendly. The one that spoke before, a BALD GUY (20 something, head shaved,
tattoos all over, a piercing in his nose, leather jacket), walks to LOIS, he
gets real close and speaks to her ear.
BALD GUY
We saw what that guy
in the limo did to you, but let us tell you that we ain´t into treating sweet
chicks like you that way...We like to be gentle...unless you prefer the rough
way, which we wouldn´t mind at all, you see?
LOIS looks at the
other three guys, they are all smiling in a wicked way, she notices some chains
and knives in them. She looks at BALD GUY straight to his eyes, he stares back
at him. LOIS smiles at him, with a very sexy smile, and then flips her hair
from her face. She gets closer to him and speaks back to his ear.
LOIS
So...you big guys are
here hoping to have your fun with me, hmmm?...Tell you what...how about we do
this the only way we know we are going to enjoy this...THE HARD WAY!
As she yells this,
she impacts her knees on BALD GUY’s crotch really hard, we see him going down
on his knees. W e see the other guys
looking at the scene with great pain and surprise in their faces.
LOIS then grabs the
piercing at BALD GUY`s nose.
LOIS
Sorry, dude... But you just got me
at a bad night...
Then, with all her
strength, she rips off the piercing, having him fall down back, leaving a trail
of blood on the air.
BALD GUY falls near
his friends, they look up to him, and he yells at them while trying to cover
his nose.
BALD GUY
What you idiots
standing for??...GET HER!
The three surround
LOIS as she gets into a karate like pose. One of them decides to jump at her;
she gets him with a good kick at his jaw. But then another one manages to grab
her from the back. The third one comes to her with a knife on hand. The BALD
GUY stands up and takes out another knife.
BALD GUY
Wait...let me have
the pleasure of cutting this little whore...let´s see if she likes it
LOIS tries to force
herself free with no luck, BALD GUY walks at her smiling with the knife on his
hand. The other two walk at her sides, they have LOIS completely surrounded.
Suddenly a big hand
grabs BALD GUY by the back of his jacket and is lifted up in the air and then
tossed away by a very BIG MAN who we
cannot see clearly.. BALD GUY falls over one of the guys surrounding LOIS. The
other one is grabbed by the neck and punched out by a very powerful fist.
The one grabbing LOIS
looks horrified as his pals are beaten down. LOIS notices the guy is shaking
and manages to get free, but at doing so she takes the chance to thrust her
elbow on the guy`s nose, he falls down to the floor. The shadow of the BIG MAN
walks towards him, he tries to get up and with great difficulty manages to run
away.
BIG MAN
Are you ok, Miss
Lane?
LOIS
Yes, I`m
fine...thanks to you...
We see the BIG MAN´s
face come out of the darkness, it`s BIBBO
(56, big, muscular, few hairs on the top of his head, missing a few teeth,
rough and gentle at the same time).
LOIS
...Bibbo...
BIBBO
Oh, it was my
pleasure miss Lane...It was just some dumb luck I was passing by and recognized
you...what ya doin` at the worst part of Suicide Slum this time o`the night? Ya
lookin` for a story? I can help ya if ye are, you know that...You are one of my
fav’rites!
LOIS (smiling)
I know, Bibbo...you
one of my fav´rites too...But no, I`m not here for a story, let´s just say I
went out for a walk and got lost on my way...
BIBBO
Huh? What kind of
walk takes you to this parts of the town at this hour?...Any way, miss Lane,
I`d recommend ya take a cab back home...those losers ain`t the only kind of
predators ya find here...
LOIS
I`m afraid I`ll have
to take my chances...I don´t have the money to take a cab.
BIBBO
Har! Har!...you crack me
up, miss Lane! How come you go out with no money??..any way, here, let me help
you with that...
Bibbo takes out his
wallet and counts some money then he handles it to Lois.
LOIS
Oh, no...Bibbo, I
could never take your money
BIBBO
C`mon, miss Lane...Ya
will pay me back, I`m sure...Or just throw a cheeseburger next time ya need a
tip for any other story ya are looking for.
LOIS looks at the
money, smiles again and then takes it.
LOIS
Thank you Bibbo...you
truly are my guardian angel...
BIBBO
The Good Lord knows
ya need one miss Lane...always risking youse neck at some story or other...
Both BIBBO and LOIS
get lost walking away.

I've given some thought to this part.
ResponderEliminarFirst of all, i think it worked as transition from the previous scene, where we went from Lex's photo in a magazine to the real Lex. But I think it may be confusing in how much time has passed, it's supposed to be 5 to 6 years later, or so (depends on how long it takes you to graduate from journalism).
The other thing is that I think the scene should be cut after Lois sees the car go away and just leave it there. I think Bibbo's scene is one of those things you'd get to see as the extra scenes in a special dvd or blu ray edition.
Buut I decided to leave it anyway. You be the judges of it.
